Bollywood director Dibakar Banerjee's latest film ‘Love Sex Aur Dhokha’ has been hit by the Censor Board. According to reports a controversial love scene that shows a bare-backed girl on top of a man making love has been blurred. As such the couple will be seen making love as two blurred figures. This even as many recent Hindi films have had graphic love- making scenes. It may be known that Kareena Kapoor gave a bare back love-making scene in Rensil D'Silva's ‘Kurbaan’, which was passed by the censors. The director who refused to be enraged said "We had submitted a DVD of the film to the censorboard so they'd recommend cuts in advance and avoid delays.

The censor preview recommendation suggests that we blur the sex scene. We were told this scene was too graphic and needed tempering. There's no way the censors could allow the love-making scene. We've clearly been told that even before the film is submitted for censoring.” When asked how bare-backed love-making scenes in LSD had to be tonned down the director said "I've been in principle against the film being perceived as a voyeur's delight. Love Sex Aur Dhokha is not about sex, sex and sex. Those who expect that will turn away disappointed."

‘Love Sex Aur Dhokha’ produced by Ekta Kapoor under Alt Entertainment has been in news since long not just for name, but also for nature and content of the film.  Dibakar Banerjee has been infuriated by the cut under which all reference to a love story between low-caste boy and high-caste girl has been removed. He said "This completely changes the perspective of my story since now the caste-challenged love story is turned into a poor-boy-rich-girl romance. This not what I intended." Also, the song 'Tu Nangi Achi Lagti Hai' was modified on the audio CD to 'Tu Gandi Achi Lagti Hai' has now been similarly modified in the film also. However the director said "But no complaints. Considering the controversial content my film got away easily with little cuts and an 'Adults' certificate."?
