Plot:
Plot: The story is of a young man who goes very serious about love without looking into ins and outs. The film indirectly sends a message to youth not to simply carry away by infatuation in the name of love and ignore parents and others those spell true love. Does he accept her love? What happens to Ratna's love? Will Madhu be happy? All this forms the rest of the story.
Story:
Madhumita (Tamanna) who is a 20 year girl but behaves as kid, simply lives with her teenage feelings and desires without putting any filter between her thought and act.. Raghupathi (Siddarth), the son of a middle class father falls in love with her. She too likes him, even Madhumitha’s parents agree to their marriage. But Madhumitha doesn’t carry any seriousness in that bond due to her immaturity. As Raghupathy goes out of station on job and by the time of wedding cards are being distributed, another man Radha Krishna enters Madhumita’s life. Her parents also change and fix marriage for Madhumitha and Radha Krishna. This hits Raghupathy as a shock, and he tries to commit suicide.
Performances:
Tamannah concentrated more on oozing out her sex appeal and glamour than her acting. She acted as an easy going teenager with kid-like behavior. She looked awesome in some frames, especially in saris. She proved well with respect to performance too.
New comer Siddarth looked dumb and lifeless without expressions, is yet to attain perfection but on a whole he is ok in a submissive role.
Rukmini has a bright charm in her looks, but she needs to add more flesh if she wants to become a heroine. Rukmini is not that great photogenically but ok with respect to dances and performance.
Others are ok. Kitti was gracious in his role while Charlie was just okay. The others did not have much to do.
Technical Values:
The first half of the film is very slow while second half is ok to some extent. The climax is not that predictable but a sign was conveyed in the beginning of second half. On the whole the movie is meant for class audiences and not for masses. The fate of this film is purely dependant on class audiences those can bear more pathos and drama for 2 hr 30 minutes. As the film is predictable the audience were constantly looking at their watches both in first and second halves.
The director Gandhi Krishna has came up with an appealing storyline, but then made a major mess of it with poor narration. The presentation was the saving grace for the film. The dialogues were written with explicit perversion, the script is weak and the screenplay is stale. The bright side of the film some melodious music and background score, exceptional camerawork and mind blowing locations. The real culprit in the entire movie is the editing which was absolutely terrible. Costumes and art department did their bit very neatly.Over All:
The film attempted to convey that there is friendship even if love does not work out but in reality that never happens. Instead, the maker was quite keen on getting dirty with the dialogues and creating a very perverted environment. While the first half was dull and boring, the second half cheers things up with some good visual of New York. However, the content aspect is absolute trash. The villain goes scot free, the hero is heartbroken, the true lover doesn't get her love reciprocated and the loved one meets with a tragic end. One really fails to understand where the title has got anything to do with the story.
