
A new trailer of 'After.Life' starring Christina Ricci, Justin Long and Liam Neeson. The film is about an Anna (Christina Ricci) who after a horrific accident, wakes up to find herself at a funeral home, where the funeral director Eliot Deacon (Liam Neeson), who appears to have the gift of transitioning the dead, is preparing her body for funeral and trying to make her believe that she is already dead. Story, screenplay and direction is by Agnieszka Wojtowicz-Vosloo, with screenplay co-written by the director with Paul Vosloo, and Jakub Korolczuk. 'After.Life' is a psychological thriller produced by Bill Perkins, Brad Michael Gilbert and Celine Rattray and will see a limited release on 9th April 2010 in the US by Anchor Bay Films.
'After.Life' is about how Anna who feels very much alive, doesn't believe she's dead. Despite Eliot Deacon saying he is the only one who can save her, and his assurances that she is merely in transition to the afterlife, Anna believes that the funeral director might be intent on burying her alive. When Anna's boyfriend Paul suspects that Eliot Deacon isn't what he appears to be; he tries to disclose the truth that Anna is alive before its’ too late and save her from being buried alive. According to reports, the film also has some necrophilia style sexuality which Anna is subjected to. The film premiered last year at the AFI Film Festival. (watch new trailer)
