Russell Crowe to be Honored with Hollywood ‘Walk of Fame’

Hollywood actor Russell Crowe will be honored with the 2,404th star on the Hollywood ‘Walk of Fame’. The New Zealand born Australian Oscar winner who has delivered hit films like ‘Gladiator’, ‘Cinderella Man’, ‘The American Gangster’ ‘The Insider’,A Beautiful Mind’ and ‘A Good Year’ will unveil the pavement plaque in front of the Kodak Theatre on April 12th 2010. Alongside 45-year-oldRussell Crowe; 28 other entertainers, will be honored by Hollywood Chamber of Commerce on that date. Celebrities who will be honored heap praise on Russell Crowe include actors John Cusack, Colin Firth, Adam Sandler, Emma Thompson and Mark Wahlberg. Even musicians like Bryan Adams, The Funk Brothers, Chaka Khan, Van Morrison, Ringo Starr, ZZ Top and Roy Orbison will be honored. Other Australians who have won the Hollywood ‘Walk of Fame’ include Nicole Kidman and Cate Blanchett.

Russell Crowe started acting since he was 4 years old, when he was hired for a line of dialog in one episode of Australian TV series ‘Spyforce’. He later appeared in some Australian TV shows, such as ‘The Sum of Us’, ‘The Young Doctors’, and ‘Neighbours’. His first film was ‘Blood Oath’ in 1990. Since then actor a well known sports enthusiast, and philanthropist but a short fuse has been landing roles in Hollywood big screen projects. His latest Hollywood movie is ‘Robin Hood’ which is set to release on May 14th, 2010. Released by Universal Studios  the film also stars Cate Blanchett as Maid Marian as well as Scott Grimes, Kevin Durand, Alan Doyle as well as Danny Huston, William Hurt, Matthew Macfadyen, Mark Strong, Vanessa Redgrave, Oscar Isaac, Lea Seydoux, Scott Grimes, Danny Huston and Max von Sydow.
