The P Vasu directed Tamil movie ‘Chandramukhi’ was a big hit; and was dubbed or remade in all the languages. The sequel titled ‘Chandramukhi – 2’ in Tamil is releasing soon to cash in other craze. ‘Aptharakshaka’, which is the original film for ‘Chandramukhi–2’ in Kannada has also already completed its shooting and in post production is ready for release.

As such many producers are trying to get the copy rights for remaking this film, but Bellam Konda Suresh has won rights to making this film with Venkatesh as hero and P Vasu will again direct it in Telugu. This will be the second time P Vasu and Venkatesh are working in a film, earlier they worked in the blockbuster ‘Chanti’. The prolific producer is planning to start the shooting of the sequel film in the month of May.
