Anushka Shetty is set to pair with Venkatesh once again after ‘Chintakayala Ravi’. This time it’s the Telugu remake the Kannada film ‘Apta Rakshaka’. Noted Tollywood producer Bellamkonda Suresh who got the remake right to ‘Apta Rakshaka’ is producing the film. ‘Apta Rakshaka’ it may be known is the sequel to ‘Apta Mitra’ which was made into Tamil as ‘Chandramukhi’ by P Vasu.

The new film is titled ‘Chandramukhi – 2’ and will be directed by P Vasu once again, who made ‘Chandramukhi’. This will be the second time P Vasu and Venkatesh are working in a film, earlier they worked in the blockbuster ‘Chanti’. According to reports a special preview of the Kannada version was shown to Anushka Shetty and after watching the movie she was thrilled and readily accepted to act in the Telugu version.
